VDR symposium “Artworks of the reformation – investigated and restored”

The German Association of Conservator-Restorers (VDR) wants to remember this cultural political meaningful event in the theme year “image and the Bible” in the context of the Luther Decade with a symposium. vdr_symposium_artworks_of_the_reformation_-_investigated_and_restored.jpg During three days, Conservator-Restorers and representatives of adjacent professions will show which achievements they accomplished at the preservation of Luthers heritage and which great influence the time of the reformation had on the inventory and the new creation of art and cultural assets. Practice-oriented presentations and a wide framework programme enable an interdisciplinary discourse.
