Members of the European Confederation of Conservator-Restorers’ Organisations express their sorrow at the damage by fire to the cathedral of Notre Dame. Notre Dame is iconic for Europe let alone France and in the trauma of this cultural loss, we offer our solidarity and collegiality with the french people. We are aware that many of own members in France will be involved over the coming days, months and years tn trying conserve and restore what can be rescued from this fire. We offer all our collective knowledge and goodwill.
