E.C.C.O. member, the Croatian Conservation-Restoration Society, invites conservator-restorers, researchers, students, educators and heritage professionals to take part in ConRestCon 2026, the 5th Conservation and Restoration Conference of the Croatian Conservation Society.
The conference will take place on 17 November 2026 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, Croatia. It will offer a professional platform to share current work, research, case studies and reflections from across the field of conservation-restoration.
The official languages of the conference are Croatian and English. The programme and booklet of abstracts will be shared through the website and social media channels of the Croatian Conservation-Restoration Society.
Contribute with a presentation, poster or video
Professionals and members of the wider heritage community are invited to contribute actively to the programme. Participants may submit proposals for an oral presentation, a poster presentation or a video presentation. Hybrid participation will also be available, allowing contributors who cannot travel to Zagreb to take part remotely.
ConRestCon 2026 welcomes contributions addressing different areas of conservation-restoration practice, research and professional development. Proposals may present completed or ongoing projects, practical case studies, methodological approaches, technical research, interdisciplinary collaboration, educational perspectives, and wider reflections on the role and development of the profession.
The deadline for submitting the application form is 15 July 2026. Final materials, including presentations, posters and video presentations, must be submitted by 2 November 2026. Due to the limited number of participants, registration to attend the conference is mandatory and must be completed by 9 November 2026.
Applications should be sent by email to the HRD secretary at tajnistvo.hrd@gmail.com. Each author may submit a maximum of two proposals, with a separate application form required for each contribution.
