Call for papers XV Technical Meeting of Conservation-Restoration 
Barcelona, 27 and 28 November 2017

Theme: SYSTEMS AND MATERIALS FOR MOUNTING, EXHIBITING AND STORING HERITAGE OBJECTS
CRAC invites you to discuss issues related to the theme of the XV Technical Meeting (see text attached) and encourages conservators-restorers of all specialties and other professionals in the field of heritage to present their papers.
Papers:
Professionals who wish to present a paper or poster must send by email a summary of the contents, maximum 500 words (in Word), to reuniotecnica@cracpatrimoni.com , following the attached model.
The deadline for accepting abstracts is 27th November 2016. The scientific committee will notify the authors of the acceptance or rejection of their proposal before 19th December 2016. The full text of the communication or poster should be submitted before 28 February 2017 to be printed in the Proceedings that will be distributed at the XV Technical Meeting.

7th Symposium of the ICOM-CC working group Art Technological Source Research

The 7th Symposium of the ICOM-CC working group Art Technological Source Research will be held on November 10th-11th 2016 at the State Academy of fine Art and Design in Stuttgart.
The focus of this meeting will be the artistic process as manifested in visual and written sources between 1850 and 1940, the time of Early Modern Art.

Presidents meeting and Declaration of Berlin 2016

The 25th Anniversary of E.C.C.O. and the Presidents meeting took place on the 6th June 2016, in the Tapestry Hall of the Bode Museum in Berlin.
The Audience gathered to witness the presentations and then discuss the theme of “Conservation Matters! The profession of the Conservator-Restorer as a Strategic Resource for Cultural Heritage”
Our Invitation was accepted by a number of great personalities which helped to establish a creative atmosphere with high spirits.
An important document for Conservation-Restoration came out of this meeting – The Declaration of Berlin.

E.C.C.O. – General Assembly, President’s Meeting and 25th Anniversary in Berlin, 2016

We wish to inform you about the 25th anniversary of the European Confederation of Conservator-Restorers’ Organisations (E.C.C.O.).to be celebrated over the course of its upcoming GA and Presidents’ meeting on the 6th June in the Bode-Museum in Berlin. International guests working in the field of cultural heritage have been invited to celebrate this event with us.

You may also register for the 5th and / or 6th June to report on the event which takes place at the Neues Museum and the Bode-Museum of the museum island in Berlin.
The possibility of an interview with the president of E.C.C.O., Susan Corr, and the president of the host, the German Association of Conservator-Restorers VDR, Dr. Jan Raue, is scheduled for  the 5th June at 6 pm at the Neues Museum.
Please note that this is not a public event and access will be provided only for registered and accredited persons. Find therefor a registration-accreditation form and the guidelines of the National Museums in Berlin, SMB.
